The production of Victoria Ash is maintained at levels that ensure it will be available forever. This balanced approach to harvesting is managed by the Victoria Government.
Whittlesea Sawmills is committed to:
- Sourcing sawlogs from renewable and sustainable managed resources
- Maximising the yield extracted from each log
- Ensuring forests are maintained and enhanced for current and future generations
- Following regulatory controls and timber licensing systems which set out the minimum environmental standards
Ensuring that areas harvested are regenerated to protect the on going viability of the resource.

Here at Whittlesea Sawmill we are undertaking the biggest transformation in our history. We have moved our manufacturing plant off site to make way for new products such as WonderDeck a fantastic new decking product which needs to be seen to be believed, and the expansion of our treated pine pole range.
